The museum is recruiting volunteers to work with visitors, especially families, as stewards. We are looking for friendly outgoing people who can be available at weekends and during school holidays.
We are looking for people able to interact with the public, help families use the various hands-on interactives that are being installed in the museum, use the family trails to discover the museum and generally give guidance for the facilities. We welcome ideas for activities to try soif you have a creative mind then this is the position for you. All stewards will receive specific training related to the activities and there will also be the opportunity to have training in First Aid, British Sign Language and assisting visitors with special needs.
