A range of festive fun awaits visitors to Kew Bridge Steam Museum this Christmas season. Awaken your Christmas Spirit with a glass of mulled wine and carols, as you browse the gift shop and benefit from product discounts on December 8th & 9th.
Leave the little ones playing or making Christmas cards – free to take away.
 
The museum shop is a great source of festive gift ideas, stocked with a range of model making kits for young children, steam models for adults, Meccano, a broad range of books, CDs, limited edition mugs... in fact almost everything for the bookworm or steam enthusiast in your life!
 
Grand Christmas Steam Up: 29, 30, 31 December 2007 and 1 January 2008
Our annua Grand Christmas Steam Up will feature all the museum's rotative and Cornish steam engines in steam, running together for one very special weekend. The tower will be also open for tours, if the weather permits. Children will be kept entertained by a model railway and other activities.
 
Also on during this weekend:
  • June Withers, textile artist, will be running hands-on sessions for families to experiment in different techniques.

  • Craft jewellery for sale and a traditional sweet stall

Opening and Closing Times:
When the lights are turned off at 5pm Friday 21 December the museum is then closed for the Christmas break, re-opening at 11am, Thursday 27 December.
