With the summer holidays just around the corner, parents can splash out on their kids this summer holidays for FREE with the launch of the new updated Splash Zone on the weekend of 5th & 6th July. The fun starts for all the family at the award winning Kew Bridge Steam Museum and now is the perfect time to come down and explore what the museum has on offer for family entertainment as it’s FREE ENTRY for children fifteen and under.*
The childrens play area and interactive zone comprises of six separate challenges for children to get involved with including the hand pump, water wheel and showerhead! – all the activities are designed to help children use their brains and braun. Solving the challenges will take physical and mental ability, but there’s fun as they can go wet and wild in the process!

Other Activities at the Museum during the summer holidays:
  • July 26th & 27th, Giants of Steam -  the 90 inch, Boulton & Watt and Maudslay beam engines will run and the focus of this weekend will be on the working life of the Victorian pumping station with specialised talks, behind the scenes tours of the original workshops, as well as standpipe tower tours.
  • August 2nd & 3rd, Family Fun Weekend - a chance to come down and explore what’s on offer for all the family, with free entry for children under 16.  A range of child friendly activities are available including toy boxes, interactive machine and trails.
