Festival of Models returns in October

The ever popular Festival of Models exhibition returns to Kew Bridge steam Museum on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd October, with the museum buildings absolutely crammed with exhibits including stationary engines, traction engines, a perfect complete model of the famous Billy Smart’s circus (c.1960), and a wide range of model boats. There is truly something for everyone to see and enjoy!

Infernal Combustion!

Kew Bridge Steam Museum is pleased to announce an exciting new event, “Infernal Combustion!” taking place on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September 2010 between 11.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. To mark the return to working order of the Museum’s World War II Sulzer mobile emergency pumping unit, we are holding our first Infernal Combustion! exhibition over the weekend of 11th & 12th September to highlight the role of the internal combustion engine in the water supply industry.
