In celebration of the UK's National Science Week, Kew Bridge Steam Museum is once again hosting it's Mad Science special event weekend on March 10th & 11th 2012.

Featuring show-stopping demonstrations of electrical power by one of the UK's largest Tesla Coils, the show offers children and adults alike the chance to be amazed by displays of electrical can crushing, disc-throwing and aetherisers, along with other live experiments of mad and wacky science including super water rockets blasting high into the sky, cola fountains and the the spectacle of large oild drums being crushed using just the power of the air all around us!

To complete your trip, why not have a ride on London's only Steam Railway, which will be operating on both days of the show? Adults and children are welcome to have as many rides as they like during their visit. The museum café will also be serving hot and cold food and drinks, and the museum's stationary steam water pumping engines will be running as usual.

Kew Bridge Steam Museum will be demonstrating the science experiments you wanted to try at home but were afraid to! Come along and join in the fun!
