Kew Bridge Steam Museum is pleased to announce the launch of a new exhibition, Explore the Sea Floor, opening on 8th January through to 2nd March 2008. This interactive exhibition dives into the sea-bed and reveals the unusual creatures that live there.

  • Fun activities relevant to the National Curriculum Key Stage 2, 3 and 4

  • Enlarged model of a Sand Mason Worm
  • Animals of the sea-bed including a sea fan and sea slugs from the British Isles
  • Sonar Towfish - research equipment
  • A sampling grab  - research equipment
  • Sediment column (showing different types of sea-bed gravel and sand)
