Fundraising & Sponsorship
Funding & Sponsorship:
Over the last few months the Project Aquarius team have been busy getting the fundraising and sponsorship requirements under way.
The Heritage Lottery Fund had awarded us £ 1.845 Million already which meant as a Museum we had to raise £186,000 needed to make up the match funding balance to allow us to carry out all the works as agreed and planned. Since August 2012, through the generosity of the London Borough of Hounslow, the Garfield Weston Foundation and the Charles Hayward Foundation most of this funding is now in place.
We are now looking for donations and sponsorship from individuals, groups, companies and organisations who may be able to help us raise the remaining balance of funding needed over the next year. Full details and specific appeals will be posted here in the next few weeks, along with an online donations payment facility.
In the shorterm if you are interested in making a payment now then please contact us via the means listed on our contacts or HLF awards page or call Oliver Pearcy on: 020 8222 8468.
We are also looking for volunteers to help act as fundraising 'ambassadors' who can go out and raise the profile of the Museum, spreading word of its plans and seek out sponsorship.
Finally Museum volunteers in general will help play their part as the hours booked helping to do any of the project work listed will be counted as a 'match funding' contribution. We are looking for new recruits to help deliver these exciting aims.
