New Community Events & Exhibitions
As an Acredited Museum we have a duty to the public at large and our local community in terms of providing education and acting as a venue for the enjoyment and appreciation of industrial heritage, archaeology and history. We provide opportunities for people to gain new skills and play a part in helping to maintain our unique heritage by becoming Museum volunteers.
We want to build on our success and expand on what we do to provide a wider range of special events, exhibitions, installations and cultural resources. This will include more activities in the summer which involve family participation during the school holidays and evening or out of hours openings for musical events, art exhibitions, tours or even sit down dinners as a few possible examples.
