Public Meeting of 15th February 2012 - Your Feedback
On the 15th of February 2012 we held a successful Public Consultancy Evening, where we showed our ideas, using a mixture of displays and audio visual presentation. The event proved to be a great success with over 90 people in attendence, following exstensive flyer distribution and press coverage.
There was considerable interest shown, with a lively question and answer session towards the end. Many people completed feed back forms on the evening and with others stiil being sent in, it is clear that generally the plans and proposals have been well recieved and that the Museum is heading in the right direction.
We hope to provide an update shortly and summarise the feedback that has been given. One major observation noted is the wish for toilet facities provision within the new cafe. This is now being explored by the architects and planners. Pictures of the meeting are shown below:
