Home Venue Hire
A venue for all occasions Print
Cocktail party or wedding, birthday or conference….

Whatever event you are planning, why not hold it at one of London's most spectacular and dramatic venues – the Kew Bridge Steam Museum. The museum is set within a magnificent and atmospheric Victorian waterworks, where industry sits side by side with elegance. Your guests enter via the Grand Junction Engine House and can enjoy a venue with a difference.

There is the opportunity to have the Grand Junction engine, the world's largest working beam engine, operating for your guests. Dinner is served inside the Steam Hall and you'll be amazed how flexible the space can be for dining and dancing whilst the majestic steam engines work noiselessly around you.

Corporate Events
With good links for local transport, easy access to the M4, on-site car parking and Heathrow just 20 minutes away, the museum offers a different and intriguing location for business meetings and events. We can provide a meeting room for up to 45 delegates, and evening receptions for up to 150 delegates.

Corporate Events Projectors and any other equipment can be provided by simply pre-arranging your requirements with the events team. A range of hotels are conveniently placed nearby should delegates need to stay overnight.

Whatever the occasion...
For those birthdays that are just too important to pass by unmarked or a very special wedding reception, youÙll find the Steam Hall makes a fantastic venue, with a capacity of 120 for table seating and 150 for buffet style receptions.

For smaller celebrations, including childrenÙs birthday parties, the Steam Hall Gallery is available for daytime hire Monday to Sunday.

A dedicated events manager is on hand throughout the evening supported by a doorman and engine drivers to operate the steam engines you have selected. The Steam Hall can be decorated using flowers, balloons and lighting with candlelight being particularly effective. Just ask our team for details of suppliers and tips on what works best within the venue.

Diner, Dance and Dessert
The museum has a list of approved, caterers who can provide exciting menus to suit your party. While use of these caterers is not compulsory, it is highly recommended as clients will find their knowledge of the museum an advantage.

Whether you want some quiet dinner jazz or full band or disco, you can party ‘till half past midnight. We can help you find the perfect entertainment for your event as we hold details of a wide range of musicians, bands, singers and DJ's.

We can also recommend a range of local florists and equipment hire companies.
