We are looking for people who enjoy painting & decorating and also for plumbers, plasterers, bricklayers and gardeners! The team usually meets on a Tuesday or Wednesday, but you are also welcome on Saturdays. The gardening team meet on Thursdays.

Volunteer JobSpot - Engine Maintenance Team Print

A thriving Thursday gang undertake most of our routine engine maintenance. They deal with everything from repacking glands, manufacturing new safety railings to major work such as overhauling the massive suction pump on the 90 inch engine (the cover alone weighed two tons!). If you just like polishing brass and cleaning interesting bits of engine, then there is plenty of that to do too and you will be very welcome.
